What is a 3D impression and when do you use it?

A 3D impression is a lifelike 3D visualization of an idea, space, or product, even before it exists. It replaces dry drawings with images that convey atmosphere, material, and light. You can use it to convince buyers in new construction, test an interior concept, or clearly present the features of a product. In real estate, an artist's impression accelerates sales because buyers can see what they are getting. In product development, it helps to show variations in color and finish without having to produce them first. Take a look at this 3D product impression, for example. For marketing campaigns, it creates consistent visual material for websites, social media, and print. This makes your story understandable for every stakeholder and reduces failure costs in design and communication.

Convincing photorealism

The power of a strong 3D impression lies in realism with emotion. Natural lighting determines the atmosphere, from soft morning light to warm sunset. Material and texture make it tangible, think of wood grain, glass, and textiles. Styling and context, such as greenery, people, and reflections, add life and scale. Finally, the camera angle determines the composition and the story. This applies just as much to architectural visualization as it does to product and interior images. Together, these choices ensure that your image is credible and naturally prompts action.

This is how we create your 3D impression

We start with a brief briefing about the goal, target audience, channels, and desired atmosphere. Preferably, provide your CAD or BIM files, such as Revit, SketchUp, DWG, OBJ, or FBX. Reference photos and a mood board help to refine style and material choices. We build or optimize the 3D model, set up lighting and cameras, and deliver a first preview. This is followed by targeted correction rounds, two as standard, in which we fine-tune details, color, and styling. You will receive the final images in high resolution for web and print, 4K or higher as standard. The average turnaround time is 1 to 2 weeks per set of images, depending on complexity and number of impressions. If you have a tight deadline, we will plan an accelerated and transparent schedule.
